A taxi driver is recovering in hospital after being assaulted by a passenger in his cab on Sunday afternoon, 11 August.
The attack happened at around 12.45pm on Etruria Vale Road in Stoke-on-Trent, when the victim, driving a Toyota Avensis, was punched in the face by one of the men.
Both suspects then fled the scene on foot.
The cabbie was taken to hospital for treatment to a suspected broken nose.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the incident and are urging anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area to come forward.
