A predator who posed as a taxi driver to attack women has been jailed for 22 years.
Nazim Asmal preyed on his victims after nights out in Preston and Darwen, driving them to secluded spots before carrying out horrific sexual assaults.
The first attack happened in October 2021 when Asmal picked up a woman in Preston city centre.
He drove her to a deserted location and raped her before dropping her off.
The terrified victim flagged down a passing member of the public for help.
In March 2023, Asmal struck again, this time in Darwen. He lured a woman into his car and drove her to a secluded area where he raped her.
Undeterred, he called his victim a month later, but she recognised his voice and ended the call.
That same night, Asmal targeted a third woman in Darwen, driving her towards Bolton before raping her.
Detectives identified Asmal after CCTV footage captured his black Toyota Yaris.
The 35-year-old, formerly from Blackburn, pleaded guilty to four counts of rape at Preston Crown Court in November.
Judge Heather Lloyd described Asmal as a dangerous offender and sentenced him to 17 years in prison with a further five years on extended licence.
He will also be on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
